On of the biggest Apple conflicts can be choosing which iPad to purchase. In October 2012 Apple came out with the iPad 4, which has retina display. At the same time Apple announced the iPad mini. Mashable.com has put together a guide that relies on similarities, display, power, speed and overall size in order to help you determine which iPad is right for you.
Both iPads offer the same option in capacity, camera and video quality, and other state of the art features like face dectection, autofocus, backside illumination and much more. The iPad 4 and iPad mini have the same battery life and mobile carriers. Of course the display is different. The iPad mini has a 7.9-inch diagonal screen while the iPad 4 has a 9.7-inch screen. Mashable.com suggests the iPad 4 is better for watching movies, viewing pictures and navigating Safari simply because the screen is bigger. When it comes to power and speed the iPad 4 has better graphics and processing powers than the mini. However, the mini is capable of doing anything the iPad 4 can. The iPad mini, being just that, is more accessible to carry around making it truly a “mobile” device. The iPad 4 is slightly more expensive than the iPad mini. It depends on if you are willing to spend a couple hundred dollars more on faster processing and graphics power.
