Question: I want to hang a new flat-screen tv on the wall without having any wires showing. How can I do this?

Step 1: Mark the Studs

Find the studs behind the wall where you want the TV mounted. From that point mark left or right 16 inches on the next stud.

Step 2: Drill Holes

The number of holes depends of the wall mount, but most use 4 holes. Hold the wall mount up to the wall and mark each hole location with a pencil. It's important to make sure the wall mount is level when marking.

Step 3: Install The Wall Mount

After marking the hole, drill the pilot holes for the lag screws. Hold the wall mount up to the wall and position it over the holes. Install lag bolts and washers with a socket wrench, but leave them loose. Readjust the mount to position the tv perfectly. Tighten each screw afterwards.
