Cables.com has a large selection of bulk wire that is rated Category 6 and 550Mhz for jobs where you have to run wire between two points and then terminate the ends on them. Examples are:

• Running wire between floors of a commercial or residential building
• Extending the range of your wifi beyond your house to the backyard
• Along the walls of a room or datacenter.

The most common types are PVC or Plenum, also known as CMP. Plenum is used within walls and crawl spaces since it is fire code compliant. We also offer them in Shielded (STP) or Unshielded (UTP). Shielded is used when you are running it near power cables or in a busy environment. Stranded is used for patch cables in short lengths upto 150 feet. Solid is used when you are punching it down on 66 blocks or keystone jacks, and are used in longer runs of up to 328 feet. We also offer outdoor rated cable that is weather proof, and is protected against water and cold.
