There are a multitude of Fiber Optic Cable Connectors with the following as the top Fiber Connector Types:
- LC Connectors (Created by Lucent Technologies - Typically small-form-factor-fiber)
- SC Connectors (Created by NTT. These SC Connectors are square shaped duplex)
- ST Connectors (Created by AT&T. These ST Connectors have a 2.5mm ferrule and can be used with other SC Connectors)
- FC Connectors (These are built of ceramic ferrule and stainless steel. Typically sturdier than other connectors in bad environments)
- MPO Connectors (This is a simplex fiber connector with a push and pull latch that locks into place)
