There’s something about unwrapping or unboxing a brand new device that just feels great, and we know what to do with the boxes and packaging afterward. That part is pretty simple, but what can be done about the materials and waste left over at the end of a device’s life? Cables and cords wrapped in plastic are discarded with old devices day in and day out, and outside of recycling, there aren’t many places for that waste to go.
