Nobody wants cables and wires to be scattered all over their home causing an eye sore. It seems like everything these days has a cable, cord, or wire of some sorts - we can't escape it! Check out our 5 easy tips and tricks for successfully masking the view of cords, wires and electronic cables in your home.
Add Cable Management. Cord wrapping, eye hooks and zip ties are perfect for hiding cords in areas where you've got a suspended surface, desk or something without back panels.
Run Cables Through The Wall. This may be the most difficult option, but there are plenty of professions that will come to your home. This is great for wall mounted TV and monitors.
Look to Molding to Hide Wire Routing. Molding and trim around floors, walls, or ceilings are great to run your cables along. They disguise them helping hide from your eyes.
Create a Niche For Large Pieces and Wires. If you've got room to build a cabinet, panel or wall opening, this is a great option for larger electronics.
Add Area Rugs to Cover Cords. Electrical outlets in the floor aren't all too common in residential spaces, but if you have them, try an area rug to cover the area.
