What Are SVGA Cables?

But SVGA came on the scene in the late 1980s, when it was developed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). This type of monitor was able to use 16 million colors no matter the resolution, and it would quickly outshine VGA as the favorite for A/V setups. Though there have been further developments since then, the use of SVGA is still commonplace in numerous tech environments. Even LCD screens and HDTV continue to rely on the use of SVGA ports!
